16 weeks

As of today, we are 16 weeks and 2 days along. The baby is about the size of an avocado. The baby's legs are developing more, and his/her head is more erect. Also, his/her eyes are moving into their positions, as well as the ears. In addition, the hair patterning is beginning. In a couple of weeks, we will have another ultrasound done, and we will get to see all of the progress that we've been making. Exciting!! Oh-and for those of you who have been wondering, I have gained nine pounds thus far. If you examine the picture, you will see that eight of the pounds are in my derriere. ;)

I am excited for tomorrow! I will be meeting my department (from work) for dinner; I will finally get to share the news with them!
