You've Got Questions-I've Got Answers

Well, the first trimester is officially over. We made it! I have learned quickly that when one is pregnant, she better get used to answering the same questions over, and over, and over, and over again. Don't get me wrong; I'm not complaining. It's actually sort of funny. I used to be a question-er, too!

So, like most people, you have questions! Never fear-I have the answers!

Q) How far along are you?
A) As of today, I am 14 weeks and 5 days.

Q) How have you been feeling?
A) I have been feeling great! I had a few fleeting moments a nausea, but they dissipated quickly. If anything, I have had a lack of appetite. I have had the fatigue; that's for sure!

Q) Are you going to find out if it is a boy or girl?
A) Nope! We knew that answer right away. We want it to be a surprise when he/she decides to enter the world.

Q) Are you sharing names?
A) No. We would have to have some ideas of names to share them. So far we have nothing. No stress here. ;)

Q) What is your due date?
A) December 19th. We hope he/she chooses to come on a day other than December 24th or 25th for obvious reasons.

Q) Were you trying?
A) We decided to let Nature do its thing. "Whatever happens, happens." It just happened quickly!

Q) Are you going to have an epidural?
A) I haven't made any plans yet. I want to be fully informed of all options before making a decision.

Q) What about work?
A) Well, we will have to make it work out for next year. I will take my twelve weeks; Jake plans on taking two initially. After I go back, Jake hopes to take ten weeks or so. We will figure it out after that.

Q) Are you eating?
A) That sounds like a silly question; I know. It is the question that inevitably comes from my mom every time we talk. I have never had an issue with not eating. She is just being a mom. Yes. I am eating. A lot.

Q) Have you gained weight?
A) Ok. This one actually is a dumb question. Check out my back side for the answer.

Q) Are you excited?
A) I am more excited than I can verbalize or describe through writing.

I think that covers it; however, if I missed one, let me know. I promise I'll answer. ;)
