Ahhh. The holidays have passed once again. Another year gone. A new one begun. It is amazing how quickly time passes. The older I become, the faster time goes by. Into this empty glass vase we call time, we fill colorful memories. How that vase appears to you is determined by your own mind. Lately, my vase has been filled with beams of primary colors; colors which evoke feelings of exitment, optimistim, loyalty, dreams. However, even more recently, dingy whites, taupes, smokey grays have been filling the tip top of it with only soothing colors of lavendar and sky blue mixed in.
The beauty of time and memories, however, is that I am in control of my glass vase. I can change my mindset and my beams of color to fill it. It is, only, a matter of time.
