A day for which we shall be grateful.

It is wonderful that we have a day dedicated to expressing how grateful we are for the many blessings we have. I am so very thankful for every aspect of my fortunate life. Today, I must stop and list only a very, very few things for which I am utterly thankful.

I am so very grateful for...
-a healthy and happy family. I feel so lucky to have the husband of whom I always dreamt, four siblings who I love and respect immensely, and parents and in-laws who gave us one another and a life-time of cherished memories.

-my health and the health of my loved ones.

-freedom.

-being able to be myself.

-Louie. He brings joy to my life.

-being able to travel to warm places. My sanity depends on it.

-only living two hours and 45 minutes from my family. It could be much worse.

-the green grass and trees that grow around us. Nature is a beautiful, amazing creature.

-language. Language is my soul.

-simply, the mere fact that I can be thankful, and the fact that I have so many things to be thankful for, that I cannot count them. That, that is truly God's blessings.
